Well, starting the day with a work problem, put into motion solution modes. Let's wait and see. I would have handled it differently, but what's done is done, now for the mop up.
Never realized my accumulating Chase reward points. Just received gift cards for Barnes and Noble, Best Buy and Dunkin Donuts. These things expire and I never even noticed until the other day.
Easter, will do my usual, candy, chips and snacks, Boston Market Ham and Chicken, and homemade Mac and cheese. All day NBA playoffs. Looks like a plan.
My job feels like the run is almost over. I can retire now and I think it would be no problem financially. I keep going because this is what I've been doing for 28 years and I'm still pretty good at it. Going to run the string as long as I can and pay off debt. I could put tons into my 401K but paying the debt gets a greater return.
Just filed my youngest son's taxes. I claim him as a dependent and his part-time job doesn't take out enough withholding's. So, I pay $628. It is all good because he allows to claim my filing status as a Qualifying Widower. That saves me thousands. I even gave him some cash to make up for not getting a refund.
Palm Sunday today. Easter is late this year. Tomorrow starts Passover. We always had a Easter dinner which she made. Next week, I will go to Boston Market and get the dinner for six.
NYS Tax refund in the account, that was super fast. Going to pick up Roku streaming stick tonight and DVD of The Desolation of Smaug. Don't want to cook so Popeye's is on the way back from Best Buy. Now for a tire rotation and an Oil change.
All hail the Huskies! Great tournament overall, one of the best yet. Shabazz Napier was a revelation. Don't know how good a pro he will be, but he sure is quick.
Wow, that was quick. Filed last Saturday, $ in the account today and NYS will be here next week. Instead of paying over 4K, getting about 2K back. Qualifying Widower status saves the day.
